James: James Schramko here, SuperFastBusiness.com, chatting with my mate Lloyd Thompson from VirtualDOO.com. Hello, Lloyd.
Lloyd: Thanks for having me, James.
James: Lloyd, you’re my friendly fractional integrator friend, also a surfer, which makes you pretty cool in my book, hence the surfboard there. But on a serious note, in your service there, fractional integration, I know you go into businesses, you sit down with a visionary, you find out what they’re trying to achieve. You map it all out for them and their people and their processes, and then you roll up the sleeves, and you get in there, and you start getting stuff done with. As we like to say, you get their trains running on time using their existing team or suggesting hires they need to have, working with whatever platforms they have in place.
That’s all great, but how much would someone expect to pay for someone to come in and do this, what seems like an absolute dream to have done in their business? But what is the low, low price today, mate?
Lloyd: Yeah, well, currently, this is between 4k and 10k. But the lowest price for where we’re driving would be 6k. Coaching is four, where we’ll advise them how they could improve and go from there. So between 4k and 10k.
James: What is going to determine the difference between a $6,000 or a $10,000 per month client?
Lloyd: Number of staff, size of the team to be managed, frequency of meetings and/or facilitation required versus how much that we can do offline using Slack chat. And really the complexity of it. But the first two are the really main issues.
James: I know some of the things people are getting. When they pay that fee, they’re getting all of your years of experience, installing – what is it – eight, nine-figure computing software systems. Like, really hardcore experience working with teams of developers. You’ve got a globally distributed team of your own that can come in and take various roles as required. And the best thing is, I don’t have to hire, train, manage all this stuff, because you just turn up and you’re accountable. And you’ve got the bandwidth to handle it, versus them having to go out and find a really high paid sort of role to do all of the things you do, like a COO. I know those roles are pretty expensive to start with. And they can be hit and miss.
So I love what you’re doing there, mate. It’s a great service. I know that my clients who have been getting on board VirtualDOO are so thrilled, like, they’re raving about it. And I just think it’s a great service you’re offering, so thank you for that. How do we get in touch with you if we want to investigate this for our own business?
Lloyd: Just email me, [email protected].
James: So that’s Lloyd with a double L right? [email protected]. Lloyd is the man, thank you so much.
