James Schramko here. Today, I want to share a tip with you to make sure that you don’t get sucked back into the little tasks within your business. Have you ever hired somebody, trained them up and then they leave and now you’re back to doing the job? Well, one way to protect yourself against this is to hire two people.
I often recommend this in my coaching calls. Hire two people where you might have only hired one because now you get the ability to have two people training together. They can buddy system. They’ll train much faster. If one of them doesn’t work out, you’ve still got protection. Plus, each of them will have their own strengths so you can benchmark, and you compare best practice against each other, and you can have them cross-train, and you can actually build them up to be better than if you just hired one. And now you’re safe and that role will always be done. And if one of them leaves, have the other one train up the new person.
That’s how you protect yourself from getting dragged back into the little tasks.
