James Schramko here, and if you actually still wear shoes, this will be interesting. As I sit here in bare feet, I can’t help but think maybe my metaphor today is not super appropriate for my target audience, but we’ll roll with it.
Let’s say you do wear shoes and you have shoelaces. When you put them on, you probably do your shoelaces up the same way every day, and that’s because at some point in the past, you learnt that and now it becomes automatic. In fact, when you were taught how to tie your shoelaces, whoever taught you probably had a way of doing it. Well, the good news is there’s a way of doing all sorts of things in business.
And if you want to structure that, the first instance while you’re still learning, it can actually be really helpful to have a framework or a template or a guide to help you. Just like the teacher uses when they mark a test, or they certainly did back when I went to school, they had the answer sheet with all the answers that had little holes and they could just tick, tick, tick or cross.
And they could score a test very quickly using the template or the answer sheet. There are answer sheets for just about everything, from how to make a sale to how to do a video like this. I taught a formula for little videos like this in my own community. And these frameworks and templates, if you can get a hold of them, will mean that you don’t have to invent this stuff.
You don’t have to think about it from scratch. Someone has already discovered it. So, get access to templates, frameworks and checklists. Learn about selling templates. Learn about content templates. Learn about team templates. They’re available to you.
I certainly provide them for my own members. But they’re out there. Get them. Use them. Take a load of so that you don’t have to worry about it. And soon enough, they will become automatic for you; you won’t even have to think about them.
