James Schramko here with today’s tip. And this is: if a prospect is delaying coming back to you or if a person who owes you money is coming back to you very slowly, a few things you can do. One: you can ask them to level with you, let you know what’s really happening, because maybe they’re holding something back.
Two is perhaps you could go to a more senior person than the person you’re dealing with. Sometimes that helps. Now, that may not make you popular but if it’s the last resort, it’s possible.
And the third thing you could do is just move on to the next customer if you are not getting where you want to go. Sometimes, you’re not a good fit.
And the fourth thing would be to review your process, figure out if you need to change your filter or your process on how you ended up in this situation to avoid being in this situation again.
