Genesis – WordPress theme with a custom skin on top built by my team at The closest to this is the OTR theme. We installed this from $199.

Liquid Web -where I host my websites. I have a dedicated server because I run several large websites and also host customers test sites. VPS solution would be okay for small situation.

Sucuri – secure the security on our site

Trustwave for my security seal

Afternic – where I sell premium domains

Pingdom – monitor our sites

I use several alerts services like Google, BuzzSumo, Mention and Talkwalker


CrazyEgg – check heat maps

Visual Website Optimizer if I’m doing split testing

I use Google Analytics and goals in analytics extensively plus the Tag Manager

Improvely for tracking conversions for my event campaigns

Shopping cart

I use Nanacast. This cart allows me to join my autoresponder and payment methods.

We use Gravity Forms to collect customer details after purchase

Community and Collaboration

The membership forum is run using Xenforo
The custom skin is designed by pixeledit.

GoToWebinar and GoToMeeting is what I use for meetings

Google apps for business for my email for the team. Also the documents for our Word and Excel style sheets.

I use Google docs surveys to collect data for broadcast episodes and pre / post events

Slack to run my team


I use Ontraport for my email delivery. An alternative to this might be Active Campaign.

Leadpages is what we use for lead boxes and optin forms

Payment gateways/Merchant account

My payment is received via PayPal or credit card. To accept credit cards I need to use a merchant gateway called Eway.

US dollar currency is stored in an NAB US dollar forex account.

Australian dollars are collected by BankWest.

Blubrry is where I get broadcasting stats and it is the plug-in I use to connect my website to iTunes
When I render videos on my iPad I used the tilt shift app


A lot of images using in my marketing I hand illustrate using paper 53 / a pen and paper / a whiteboard or take a picture with my iPhone

The reminders app on Apple is where I store checklists and frameworks for myself

I use the slackbot on Slack as my todo list

To construct long written documents I use IA writer pro

I dictate my notes using the dictate feature on Apple

I use Rescue Time to keep tabs on how long I spend on each tool each week

My schedule is a management schedule once feeding into my iCal

For passwords I use 1password

My team uses Lastpass



I read kindles on my iPad mini Retina

My main computer is a 13 inch MacBook Pro retina

I have an external hard drive to record media to so that it does not load up the computer

All of my files are stored in dropbox instead of on the local computer device

My iPhone syncs to drop box when I plug it in

When I’m at home I use a 24 inch LED screen + external wireless keyboard and magic mouse

My laptop sits on an air stand.

My preference is to use ethernet instead of Wi-Fi when I’m at home it gives a more stable and high-speed connection

Use the memory clean out to clear my computer

I use a broker for insurance
An IP lawyer for trademark matters
