James Schramko here, and I’ve been helping people with their business for quite some time, but there’s one thing that you absolutely have to have before you can get anywhere in business.
It doesn’t matter how much you talk about traffic or your great idea or building out a website or your business cards or banners or t-shirts or logos or even trademarks. At the beginning, the most important thing you need is an offer that converts.
Now, by that I mean you need to have something that you could sell that people will give you money for. That could even happen face-to-face. You don’t even need a website for this to happen. So work on your offer that converts, because that’s where you get the money to buy all those other things and to build a team and to get scale. So start with your offer that converts. That is the absolute most critical thing for you to have a successful business. And from there, you can iterate, refine, change prices, scale and all the good stuff. But you need to have an offer that people will give you money for.
