James Schramko here. Today, I want to share with you something that should be fairly obvious, and sometimes we overlook this.
As business owners, we’re trying to get the right approach, the one that’s going to work. And I often remind my customers there’s more than one approach. There are many, many ways you can do this. So, I’m not going to use the expression “There’s more than one way to skin a cat,” because I’ve never skinned a cat, and frankly I’ll be concerned about anyone who has skinned a cat so often that they know more than one way to do it.
What I will say though is there are many, many approaches you can make when it comes to going out to the market and making your offer. So just try your offer. Try a different offer. Change it up a little bit. Accept that you will need to innovate when you have an online business, and you will have to try new offers. I’ve changed my programs many times over the last decade, and I always seek to find a way that’s going to work really, really well for my customers, and that can still work for me. What I do see in people is analysis paralysis, where they’re just stalling on a decision because they don’t know the perfect one. Well, there’s no perfect one. There are probably many perfect ones. So just start and try your offer and then try something else.
