Today will be an interesting topic for you if you already have a product or business or service selling stuff. I’m going to share with you the quick wins.
When someone comes to me and they need some help, the first thing I want to know is what have you already sold? What is the number one traffic source? What is the number one conversion device? By that I mean, is it a sales phone call, is it a sales letter, is it some kind of webinar? What is the number one product that you sell? What is the most profit that you make? What do you sell the most of? And which ones are recurring?
From that, if we can just magnify those, I call this magnify the winners, then we can get some quick wins. Because we’re just concentrating on the proven, the tested, already working, and just getting more of that. Once we know who the best customers are, we can go and get more of those. Once we know what the best product is, we can develop more products like that or sell high quantities of the same product or re-engineer the way that we market the product or find a new audience for that product.
So, there are lots of cool things that can be done with that. This way, you really only need one good traffic source, and one good conversion device, and one perfect customer, and one perfect product and one recurring subscription to make a serious impact to your life. So, if you’ve got 10 products or 12 services or 100 SKUs in your eCommerce store, you could probably safely ignore a big percentage of them and just find the winners and focus on them first.
