James Schramko here. Today, I want to talk about the topic of what to call your content delivery. So, let me explain the difference here that I’m talking about is between a podcast or a show.
Now, I’ve seen some research suggesting how much video people are watching and it is an amazing amount actually, hours and hours per day. 85% of people are looking at video on a daily basis on the Internet. So, my advice these days is if you’re interested in having a podcast, if you do have video content perhaps call it a show. I think show is of broad appeal so you could still call an audio format podcast a show, and it also really captures that video momentum as well.
So, if I was starting a new program today, I would actually call it a show rather than a podcast.
