And today, we’re going to be talking about something really, really important that can really help you go from six to seven figures as quickly as possible. You might be thinking that being a one-man show, going out alone is going to be your way of getting your goal. But the truth is, that’s not really the case. Tell us what really works, James.
James: I think if you look in any elite sport, or people who are at a high level of success, they’re going to have people in their corner as part of their team, who helped them to get that success, or even partners in the background. But one of the common things I’ve seen with the most humble and least ego-centric entrepreneurs is they come to a coach with a beginner’s mind, and they say, I want to pay you to tell me how this works.
Give me all the secrets. Go direct. And you know, I was interviewing a guy the other day on my podcast, and he has a coach for martial arts. And he says, he demands more from me. I’ll lift my level, when I’ve got someone in my corner, showing me exactly what to do, and then demanding that I do it. So I think the real secret here we’re talking about is, ask for help. In fact, I’ll even go above, I’ll say, pay for help. Whatever it is, whether you want to be a better surfer, whether you want to meditate better, there will be someone out there, especially eating and exercise, there’ll be someone out there who you can actually get assistance from, and help you move through all the processes much faster than you can take it on by yourself.
Ron: Yeah, absolutely. And success really is, I remember reading, Brian Tracy would talk about this years ago, when I started getting into self-help, where he says, success really is not that difficult. It’s essentially find someone who is where you want to be, and do the things that they do, or listen to the things that they tell you to do, and just follow their direction, especially when it comes to building a seven-figure business.
In this day and age, there are no secrets. And the path to building a seven-figure business, it’s actually quite clear. There are different playbooks, as you call them. But if you just focus on those playbooks and do the right actions you’re going to get there. But the truth of the matter is, is that oftentimes getting that information, getting that playbook and getting that person to hold you accountable, you get what you pay for. There’s this idea that when people pay, they pay attention. And it’s absolutely true if you want to build a seven-figure business.
James: You know, I actually wore out my copy of Brian Tracy’s Psychology of Selling on cassette. Back in the day, it was his voice in my ears, who helped me in my foundational sales era and so it couldn’t be more appropriate.
Thank you so much, Ron. That’s amazing.
Ron: Awesome, great stuff! Thank you!
