Having a mobile application could be a great way to increase your brand visibility. And I want you to grab your smartphone if it’s handy or accessible. And just have a look at your home screen on your device right now. And I just want you to have a look at the different app icons that you’ve actually put on the screen.
Those tiles that are on your screen are probably there for a reason, you probably use those brands a lot. And imagine if your brand was sitting there and repeatedly was being viewed by the people in your audience, just a constant reminder of your presence. Now, just to sort of back this up, the average person looks at their phone at least 85 times per day. And many in this room, I think is probably far greater than that. Probably a lot more. But imagine if your app had an icon and that was repeated 85 times at least interaction with your brand over and over. So that’s one idea, brand visibility.
The next one is increased loyalty. That brand visibility combined with the fact that you could be helpful should lead to loyalty if your app is able to achieve whatever it sets out to do. And that might translate like it has in James’s case, to people being able to stay or access the community more so and then therefore, hopefully, lead down the path to greater revenue.
