James Schramko here. When I started online, I did one thing in particular that made progress quite slow and then when I changed that, it made my progress quite fast. I’m going to share that with you today.
So, when I started online, I was looking very carefully trying to find the thing that I could actually sell. And when I finally found it, it was a small Eureka moment because the pinnacle of all my energy was that it resulted in a sale that put money into my account.
Now, this is really the holy grail, but it’s only part of the story because once you’ve got that, of course, you want to repeat that. So, I set about repeating it. And I was able to gradually increase my income month after month after month. But the big thing that I shifted from and to was I went from selling one-time products or services to recurring products or services. This meant that every time I made a sale, there was a chance that that sale would continue. It would repeat and repeat and repeat and repeat until the customer unsubscribed.
Now, if I could keep adding those sales each month and keep getting repeat sales then it compounded. That’s what happened when I opened up SuperFastBusiness nine years ago, but it was called SuperFastResults back then as a membership. And I still have some members now that I’ve had for nine years plus I still add members.
So, over time, it is like a little snowflake at the top of a mountain that rolls down the hill and turns into a snowball and then turns into a massive boulder. And by the time it gets to the bottom of the mountain, it is like an avalanche. And it really is the holy grail of the holy grail.
If you can find your offer that converts, and if that offer just happens to be a recurring subscription then you’re on track for a fortune. And it is an easier business model once you get it rolling. And it provides you a fantastic lifestyle.
