Lets walk through the deliverables and see what it all means.
SEO is short for search engine optimization. The goal of SEO is currently to get your website to the top of Google.
On-Page Search Engine Optimization
Google ranks several factors. On-page optimization refers to the thing on your website that you can change. For best results there are a few things you can do to make your pages friendlier to the search engine.
- Make sure your keyword appears in the website title
- Name the pages accurately with the keyword where possible
- Use original content that does not appear anywhere else on the internet
- Arrange your pages in themed sections that make sense
- Include images, audio and video media with relevant description names
- Have logical navigation and a friendly graphical user experience
- Website content must be useful
- Pages should load quickly
Do these main things and your website will be positioned well to take advantage of Off-Page optimization.

Off-Page Search Engine Optimization
This is everything away from your website that helps search engines pay attention to your website. The goal is to have many other relevant websites pointing links back towards (backlinks) your website so that your website is seen as more popular. Ideally you will have links from many sources. The following items cover these techniques.
Keywords or key phrases are what drives search engine results. When we use sites like Google we type words into it. We want our website to come up first for the keywords that are most relevant to the search. Several years ago people used to just put the keywords all over their website to ‘trick’ or ‘game’ the search results. This is a dangerous thing to do and spammy use of keywords on a page is called keyword stuffing.
The best thing to do is name your page and page title with the keyword then place relevant content on the page writing for humans not search engine robots. Longer phrases (sometimes called ‘long tail keywords’) are easier to rank for and can have a more targeted buyer (commercial intent). Short keyword phrases (short tail) like ‘golf’ bring more traffic, are hard to rank for and are less targeted. You should aim for a balance of traffic versus commercial intent.
Articles are text documents that are the core content for a web page. They may be 300 – 1000 words long and contain original useful content relating to the topic of the page. Each page will have one article and has a unique opportunity to rank for a key phrase. Articles will naturally have several related keyphrases in them and bring you search traffic for multiple phrases.
Good quality articles are called ‘core’ articles. You can re-write them by hand or use a machine (spinning). When you re-write articles by hand you will get a well written version of the core article that can be used to place on other websites. You will get more opportunities to rank for more key phrases because you have more text content on the internet to get found by search engines. We recommend you avoid machine spun articles and demand human written content.
Once the articles are ready we place them in a variety of places including: article directory sites, private quality websites, web 2.0 sites including in many cases video, PDF and Audio. This gets you a lot of links from all different places. This gives you a natural link pattern. When you use different services like we do you will get access to many unique IP addresses and properties owned by many different website owners. This is a core SEO foundation for serious website owners. Never commit to just one source of links.
Text Links from Websites
When you get a link to your website from another website that is called a text link. These are hyperlinked words (ideally the key phrase you are trying to rank for). When we get text links for your website we go to authority websites that have very similar themed content to your website on them. Search engines like these links more because they are theme related therefore more relevant. The more relevant links are worth a lot more than non-related links. We have access to more websites than other marketing companies because we have a very experienced research and development team. They let us place your excellent content on their websites pointing to your website. We use sites that appear in the Google Index.
Web 2.0 Profiles and websites
Some very highly trusted websites like Squidoo, Hubpages and WordPress allow you to place content on them with links pointing back to your website. We create profiles on these websites and place your content on them to get you backlinks. Google trusts these websites and many of them have strict quality control. You can be sure that when they like your content it will help you rank better from the high value links. Many companies wrongly send poor quality content there only to have it removed. We maintain profiles and do not pass the details to customers so they can be preserved for longer.
Another high value method of gaining visits to your site is PDF document distribution. You can gather articles and pictures into PDF document then have it placed on high value sites like Scribd. Trusted sites like this appreciate high quality content and you earn targeted buyers from these sites.
Most people know that YouTube is owned by Google. It is also one of the busiest websites on the internet. We create a high quality custom video that showcases your message and logo. We use royalty paid images, royalty paid sounds and custom scripting for your message. Once these high quality videos are made we share them with several video sites. People see these videos and your URL (website address) us clearly displayed in the videos. The link from the video site is also a great way for your site to get noticed by Google. You can use the video as many places as you like.
Once we craft a custom newsworthy story for your website we publish it to many places. These press releases often get re-published 10,000 or even 20,000 times. These links lead back to your website and you get a great lift in search results. We reserve the Press release for our high end packages. Your PR will often appear in page one of Google for the News feed. Occasionally you may be contacted for an interview giving you increased publicity and exposure.
Once your posts and content have been submitted, we make a note of the addresses of this content and ‘bookmark’ it with popular and powerful bookmarking websites. These bookmarking sites like Digg and MisterWong make certain that all of your content will be found by the search engines. The search engines often follow the links and find your websites.
Many websites have RSS feed. This is a form of syndication service that spreads your content to more places. We gather the RSS feeds from all the sites we have paced your content then we ‘mashup; the feeds and post those mashups to feed distribution sites like Feedage. This is another way to ensure the sites you have places content on get found by search engines. They can also be updated automatically when more content is added to that site or channel in the future.
This is a simple process of ‘announcing’ each new link to the popular ping networks such as Pingomatic. It is just another way to ensure the new content gets noticed by search engines.
